Zennor Quoit |

Zennor Quoit stands in an isolated location on high moorland close to the village of Zennor. The Quoit, also know as a Dolmen is well worth seeking out, it is constructed from massive stones with its large capstone having fallen to one side. It dates from approximately 3500-2500 BC and was probably constructed by early Neolithic Farmers. |

Access to the Quoit The Quoit can be reached from the coast road heading from Zennor to St Ives, via a track leading off from Eagles Nest. Follow the track onto the moor and at a junction follow the left hand track towards a ruined mine building. From the building a path heads west towards the quoit |
